Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account if applicable
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync and once done, switch to the Android phone
  6. Sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes and set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up to your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Share Contacts via My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email on the Android device and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere for Android and iOS is another third-party app you can use to share your contacts. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring a computer with Internet access.

  1. Install the app on both devices from their app stores
  2. Open the app on both phones
  3. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the sender device
  4. Select the desired contacts and transfer method on one of the phones
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer
