Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
  2. On the phone, enable “Media File” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC and copy the desired files
  5. Paste the files to the phone storage, namely in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
  3. Select the ringtone you want to assign

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Sound”
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the notification ringtone you want to use for the device

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Open “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings” and access “Wireless alerts”
  3. Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “AMBER alerts” and “Severe threats”
