Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. Enable “Media File” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound”
  3. Tap “Phone ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to set
  5. Tap “Save”

Change Notification Ringtones:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Sound” and tap “Default notification ringtone”
  3. Select the notification ringtone you want to use

Manage Emergency Alerts:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “menu” > “Settings”
  3. Tap “Wireless alerts”
  4. Turn “Allow alerts” “Extreme threats” “Severe threats” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
