Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and go to info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up to your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for use on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Share iPhone Contacts via My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup for iOS. The app can back up and share contacts over email.
- Go to the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and attach the vCard
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both devices from their respective app stores
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the process
