I own a Sony Ericsson T637 and use an out-of-date Cingular plan. From what I've been seeing as I looked around, Cingular supports the use of GSM with bandwidths of 850 and 1900.
I've been looking to purchase the Nokia 8800, but seeing as how its only in Europe atm, I've only been able to find place to purchase the phone alone. Now, this phone operate one GSM 900/1800/1900.
My questions are: Does the Nokia 8800 support a SIM card.
and, if it does, then if I were to swap SIM cards, would I be able to use the Nokia 8800 in the US, under my current plan and network?
