troubleshoot Treo680 ringtone

I have successfully loaded mp3's into audio files and assigned as ringtone but no sound plays. The mp3 plays fine from Pocket Tunes but it won't play as a ringtone. Any suggestions?

I dont think it will work for the full version of the song. Because the phone has to cache the whole song before it will use it as a ring tone. I would suggest taking 4 or 5 seconds of your favorite part, making that the file and using it. It should work perfectly.
