Adding a New Contact:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" button
  2. Open the "People" app
  3. Go to the "People" tab, and press the "+" button
  4. Enter the contact's name in the "Name" field
  5. Select the contact type, and enter any additional information as you see fit
  6. Tap "Save"

Editing a Contact's Information:

  1. Access the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
  2. Press and hold the contact that you wish to edit
  3. Tap "Edit contact"
  4. Perform the necessary changes and tap "Save"

Importing Contacts from the Micro SIM Card:

  1. Access the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
  2. Press the "Menu" icon depicted as three vertical dots, and tap "Manage contacts"
  3. Press "Import / Export contacts" > "Import from SIM card"
  4. Assuming that you have a Google or Exchange ActiveSync account registered on your phone, select the type of account for your imported contacts
  5. Select the contacts that you wish to import and then tap "Save"

Importing a Contact from an Exchange ActiveSync Account:

  1. Access the "People" application
  2. Go to the "People" tab and in the search box, enter the desired contact's name or email address
  3. Tap "Search contacts in your Company Directory"
  4. Select the name of the contact that you wish to copy to your phone
  5. Tap "+" to import the contact

Copying Contacts between Accounts:

  1. While on the "People" tab, press the "Menu" icon
  2. Tap "Manage contacts"
  3. Tap "Copy contacts" and then select a contact type or online account

Merging Contact Information

In order to avoid duplicate contacts, you can merge similar contacts gathered from different sources (like social networks) into one contact

Accepting Contact Link Suggestions:

  1. Access the "People" app and go to the "People" tab
  2. Press the "Link" suggestion notification if available
  3. In the list of suggested contacts, select the ones that you wish to merge

Manually Merging Contact Information:

  1. Go to the "People" tab and select the name of the contact that you wish to link
  2. Press the "Menu" icon and tap "Link"
  3. Now, you can perform one of the following:
    • Tap the "link" icon located under "Suggest links"
    • Under "Add contact", select one of the options to link to another contact

Breaking a Contact Link:

  1. From the "People" tab, select the contact whose link you wish to break
  2. Tap "Menu" > "Link"
  3. Under "Linked contacts", tap the icon depicting a link, associated with the account that you wish to break / unmerge

Sending Contact Information

  1. Go to the "People" tab while in the "People" app and perform one of the following two steps:
    • To send someone's contact information: Press and hold the desired contact's name, and tap "Send contact as vCard"
    • To send your contact information: Tap and hold "My profile", then tap "Send my profile"
  2. Select the method of sending the vCard
  3. Choose the type of information that you wish to send
  4. Tap "Send"

Sending Multiple Contact Cards:

  1. While on the "People" tab, press "Menu" > "Send contacts"
  2. Choose the contacts that you wish to share
  3. Tap "Send"
  4. Select the method of sharing the contact cards

Contact Group Management

Creating a Group:


  1. Access the "People" app
  2. Go to the "Groups" tab and tap "+"
  3. Type in the name for the group, then tap "Menu" > "Add contact to group"
  4. Select the contact that you wish to add
  5. Tap "Save"
  6. Repeat adding contacts, and tap "Save" when the group is complete

Editing a Group:

  1. Access the "Groups" tab while in the "People" app
  2. Press and hold the desired group, and tap "Edit group"
  3. Then, you can:
    • Change the group name
    • Add more contacts by pressing "Menu" > "Add contact to group"
    • Rearranging group members by holding the icon depicting three horizontal lines, and dragging it in the desired position
    • Select the contacts that you wish to remove from the group
  4. After the changes have been made, tap "Save"
