I had the thing for a week and I couldn't stand it. It was slow, buggy, and didn't work how you'd expect it. For example, just to send an SMS was a convoluted process. When you switched from vertical to landscape screens would not be the same, and sometimes went back a screen.
Anyone else think the same?

Re: The HTC Touch Pro sucks
I agree with the OP, though I dig that it's a WinMo phone for the office contacts. I would think it's more business than play, but then, I need SMS for my business too. The Touch Pro2, however; seems mighty tasty! It may be more your thing.

Re: The HTC Touch Pro sucks
I had gone through both the Mogul and TP1. Great at first, sluggish thereafter. Maybe I just need to mod my ROM... maybe...

Re: The HTC Touch Pro sucks
I wonder why it is like that. Isn't the Touch Pro supposed to be better than the Mogul?
I have the mogul and it is great... when it's working. A lot of the times it is slow and buggy as well. I've already gone through 5 and this latest ones seems to be the worst of the bunch.

Re: The HTC Touch Pro sucks
I've had mine for a year and a half. It's had it's issues from battery life to functionality. I like the interface for the apps especially my location based application that I found but I'm sure I'll switch to another type of phone when it comes time to make that change.

Re: The HTC Touch Pro sucks
Honestly, after I reconfigured a few things. I find the phone to be pretty awesome.
But I do agree to an extent. The phone out of the box is highly over-rated.
