help needed to unlock a htc smart

hi, it would be most appreciated if someone could help me to unlock my new htc smart which is on o2 but i wish to use my 3 sim card in without spending a fortune or damaging the software on my phone? ive tried searching for codes but im not very good with the technical stuff
