Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the HTC Desire 326G to your computer via USB
  2. Swipe the “Status” bar down, tap “Connected as a media device” and enable “Media device (MTP)”
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click “Open device to view files” and access the “Media” folder on the phone
  4. Open a second Explorer window and locate the audio files you want to transfer
  5. Copy the files, and transfer them on the HTC, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” and go to “Settings”
  2. Swipe to and tap “Personalize”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Access “Contacts”
  3. Select the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use
  5. Tap “Apply”

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound”
  3. Scroll under “Notifications”, and tap “Notification sound”
  4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply”
