Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the process completes, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use People to import it to your phonebook, or:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require access to a computer, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps, such as My Contacts Backup, which can create a vCard on your iPhone that can be send via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Launch the app and tap Backup
- After the file is done, send it to your own email address
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Use People to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the HTC device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, choose to send contacts and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
