Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access iCloud on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using “People” or:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you an share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps, such as My Contacts Backup. The app can create a vCard of your iPhone contacts which can then be shared via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once done, send the vCard to your own email address
  4. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  5. Use “People” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Install the app on the HTC device via the Play Store
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, select to share your contacts and select the desired ones
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
