Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB and click the iPhone in iTunes
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up to your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and go to “Contacts”
  3. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  4. Once done, follow one of the steps below:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the “People” app to import the vCard to your phonebook, or:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard via Google Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app you can use to back up your iPhone contacts in vCard format and share the vCard via email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the “People” app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for Android and iOS, to share your iPhone contacts without requiring a computer with Internet access.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
  2. Open the app on both phones
  3. On the iPhone, select the desired contacts
  4. Select a transfer method on one of the phones
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer process
