Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB and click the iPhone in iTunes
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are already backed up to your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the People app to import the vCard to your phonebook, or:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard via Google Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app you can use to back up your iPhone contacts in vCard format and share the vCard via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using the People app
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for Android and iOS, to share your iPhone contacts without requiring a computer with Internet access.
- Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the prompts to complete the transfer process
