According to an updated forecast from research and analysis firm SNL Kagan, approximately 12 million households in the United States currently opt for a wireless-only phone connection, and that number is expected to increase to about 26 million by 2012 (equal to about 22% of the market share.)

Me three. But I went wireless-only back in 1998. Figured a cable modem and cell were plenty, as I lived alone and most of my friends were scattered around the country. Still true today.
