I bought a LG 6190 today from Telus. Now the main thing to remember is i'm stuck with telus (I pretty much can't live without this number so changing providors is not an option for me).

Telus says that the only things that can be downloaded onto the phone is what they offer on their own website. Is there a way to "unlock" the phone or disable that so that I can download from other sites too?

The telus options are very limited and extremly bad.
