Help with a usb data cable..

I have an LG L1400i and i just bought the cable and the drivers and everything off of ebay.. all the drivers are installed and everything.. i just can't figure out how to get things to work.. i bought it mainly to put new ringtones and graphics on my phone.. but i don't know how to use the thing.. can anyone help me out?

alright.. i just need some software that will allow me to do everything.. what would anyone suggest?

The commercial DataPilot software works really well for me. I was having problems with drivers and it was the only software that would install everything automatically for me.
