I was wondering if anyone has had any luck trying to get ringtones/musictones/pictures transferred to computer from the LG C2000 phone via data cable. I ordered a data cable and the cable I received says it is for the VX6000. I downloaded the drivers that the package said too. When I plug the phone up it is recogized on com 4, but I am unable to get any softwares to recognize the phone. I have emailed Datapilot and they said their software doesn't work with it yet. Any ideas on getting it to work with the data cable?

Someday
I am waiting for the arrival of the data cable I ordered. I purchased and downloaded Data Pilot, which according to wirefly.com website is guaranteed (by them) to be compatible with the LG C2000.
We shall see!!!!!! Hopefully the cable will be here within the next couple of days. Then we shall see!!!!!

Manchesters1,
Did you purchase your data pilot software from the Data Pilot website or from the another source. The one I saw on the data pilot site was #DP200 SW1-DW for 34.95.

Datapilot trial version
I downloaded the Datapilot trial version today and tried it with my data cable. No luck I tried it on 2 different computers, same thing. will never connect to phone. I've tried the drivers that came with the cable and the drivers from the Susteen website. Neither work.

The cable had a URL telling me where to get the driver for the cable..... http://netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/dku5 I am pretty sure I actually installed the driver. At this point, I am ready for a looonnnggg nap, rofl.

I tried every phone listed under LG in the DataPilot software trial version trying to get it to connect this evening. Still nothing. If you have any better luck let me know and tell me what you did if you don't mind. I'm about to the point of waiting for datapilot to list it and actually support it.
