questions concerning transfer of phone numbers from one cell to another

Hi, I just got the LG VX5200. Can someone tell me how to transfer the phone numbers I had stored in my old verizon phone to my new phone. I am new to this so I need simple instuctions. Thanks for your help, Dawn

**moving your thread since it's in the wrong forum.

Most verizon stores will do this for a $10 fee. Otherwise you'll haveta do it yourself with two different data cables and bitpm.

They did mine for free when i activated my phone..

It was a real verizon store though, not a " authorized dealer" or Kiosk in the mall
