On a LG CU500, my g/f has been receiving a lot of threatening text msgs from her ex. Their in the midst of a custody battle, and she wants to present the threatening txt msgs as evidence. Is there a way to use BitPim to download the txt msgs to a txt file that can be printed out?
I have tried to forward the msgs to an e-mail address, but all that is carried is the msg, not the phone number or time/date stamp.
I called AT&T and they said that she could go to the police department and that they could subpoena the messages through their legal department, but I thought I would see if there is an easier way.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

As far as getting them off bitpim some phones can do this but I am not sure this one can. I would suggest to you take photos of the sms messages. Not sure if she has a lawyer but get them to get photos and that way it can be verified as evidence. You can also lock the messages on the phone so they dont delete and take that with you. If anything make sure the camera you use will take good shots of the phones screen or you can always video it as well.
