lg venus with telus blocks ringtones help

hi guys, i been trying to load ringtones from pc to the venus, but when accessing file system's ringtone directory it wont let me add files says "its protected or blocked by service provider.

question is how do i bypass this ?

and also i cant get access to get phone data or send phone data.

help is needed,

I'm having the same problems.
urgh.

1= set phone to vibrate
2= start bitpim
3= go to the ringtone folder
4= right click and pick reboot phone
5= have the ringtone ready to drop
6= when phone vibrates drop the ringtone( if you try too soon it wont go, and too late the phone will lock as before)

it will load before the software locks you out
- u can only do 1 at a time

then restart the phone to see the ringtone
easy piezy
