How to reset LG Venus

Hey guys new poster here~

I just got my uncles' LG Venus but I want to reset it. I want to delete everything on it to put new stuff on it. But the problem is I don't know how... any help =D?

Try this:

Go to settings and tools. Down to phone settings. Click it then go down to security settings. Then when asked, enter password. It is usually last 4 digits of cell phone number unless you have changed it. Then go to restore phone.

If this doesn't help, let me know.

Hey it restarted and now it says intial programing needed... what does that mean?

Dial *228 and press option 1 if you already have it activated on a line.

If it isn't activated yet, call customer service to start a line of service with that phone.

Like I said, it takes it back to complete default...before you even had a number active on it. But the phone is still attached to a number...so *228 option 1 should work...unless you haven't yet activated it yet.

Yeah it already has a number on it... but its not calling anything... So just dial *288? and then press 1 or something then it will be all normal?

Yeah I just tried it and its not working <_< It's saying there is not a number in the area or something .___.
