problems after unlocked...

hi all,
i just unlocked my lg phone to use in israel... but now everytime im getting a msg the phone keeps replaying the msg tone ( even after i read the msg) i dont know how to stop the ringtone after recieving the msg... everytime im shoting it done .. wait a few min.. and then turn it on again.. is there any way i can stop the ringtone without turning it off??

Try hitting the end button maybe?

This isn't really considered a "problem"...since when you "unlock" the phone...you're altering it which causes many odd and unexplained problems with the phone.

I am going to guess this is a world phone already?

If it is, then unlocking it should not have caused any problems. I would first try and pull the battery, see if there's some residue of programming thats stuck.

If it's not a world phone, and you did hack it to get it unlocked, then as nick said, there's really no way of knowing what else happened to the phone after you hacked it.

I would try the battery pull in either case. It might help.
