Hey all I just got a Micro SD card in hopes of storing my contacts, texts, pictures, music as a back-up on the external card, but how do I do it?

The phone reads that there is almost 4GB of external memory but none of it is being used and when I go to my messages and click the "Copy/Move" it only allows me to copy/move it to my SIM card displaying no option of adding to to external memory, so I'm stuck with the 500 text limit.

When I go to Messages -> Settings -> Save text message -> External memory, it says that the message has been saved but the texts are still being saved into the internal memory.

The manual is very limited in information so I'm seeking help here.
