i got this lg two days ago

i got it at a thrift store in my county. i traded my cell for it. i can turn it on but it has a window that pops up saying enter phone lock code. i cant enter the code because the person who had it before me didnt tell the store owner that it had a code so now im stuck and dont know what to do ive tried 1111 and 0000 and so on if you can at all PLEASE HELP ME FIX IT
