How-to: Secrets of Sprint or LG phone to hook me up with to help friends question

My friend just asked me if her boyfriend could be talking to a girl on his best friends cell phone and that way no one but the three of them know of the communication going on behind her back. She said that they could be just three way calling. I said check the cell phone bill.

She just called me back and said she saw two notations of 3way calling between the two guys numbers but the third not listed. I said it had to be listed. Does it? Is it? She said it wasn't showing third number but at bottom where the legends are so you can figure out night & weekends= N&W, call waiting=cw, etc, etc, that all it said at bottom where call types would usually be it said "alternate line". Oh and they have Sprint service, and he has the latest LG optimus-

I just read where you can have two numbers on one cell phone now. Is that what this is?

any advice for her I can give?
