Making a Call

1. Tap the Phone icon.
2. Use the keypad to enter the number that you want to dial and then tap the green phone icon to dial, or tap the Contacts icon located at the top of the screen.
3. Select the desired contact.
4. Under Phone, select the number that you want to dial.
5. The call with being automatically.
6. You also have a shortcut to make a call. You simply need to tap the Phone icon located next to a contact’s name and the call will begin automatically.

Manage Multiple Calls

1. Tap the Phone icon and dial the desired contact.
2. Once you are connected to the call, tap Add Call and select the next contact that you want to add.
3. After you are connected to the second contact, tap Merge call, this will add the contact to the conference call.
4. You can also be on two separate calls. To switch between them, tap the Swap icon when your second call is answered.

To Use Voice Dialing

1. Tap the Phone icon.
2. Now tap the microphone icon located at the bottom of the screen.
3. Now you have to say “Call [Contact Name]” and tap the voice command to being.
4. You can also speak the digits of a number.
5. To dial the last number, say “Call last number”.
6. Moreover, if you have a Bluetooth headset that supports voice-recognition or voice-dialing, you will be able to open the Voice Dialer by pressing the main button of your headset and then dial by voice while using the headset.

The Options You Have During a Call

While on a call you have several options, you can mute your microphone, switch between the phone and a Bluetooth headset or turn the speakerphone on or off.

To mute the microphone: Tap Mute - the light bar on the mute button will illuminate to let you know that the microphone is indeed muted. To un-mute, simply tap Mute again while viewing the in-call screen.

To turn speakerphone on or off: Tap the Speaker icon. The light bar on the speaker button will illuminate to let you know that the phone is on speaker. To turn it off, tap the Speaker again.

To switch between a Bluetooth device and the phone: You can make hands free calls when a Bluetooth device is paired to your phone. And during the call you can easily switch between the Bluetooth device and your phone. To do so, simply tap the Bluetooth icon while viewing the in-call screen.

To Ignore a Call and Send a Quick message

1. When your cell phone rings, tap the Quick msg button located at the bottom left side of the screen.
2. Now you can either write a new message or select one of the preexisting messages and tap Send.

To View Missed Calls and Add a New Contact

1. Tap the Phone icon.
2. Now tap Call Logs located at the top of the screen.
3. Missed calls will be displayed as a phone icon with a red arrow bouncing off it.
4. Select the number of the missed call and tap the + sign
5. Now tap Create new contact.
6. Fill in the Name of the contact and tap Save.

To Set the Phone to Silent

1. From the home screen, tap the Menu Key.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Device, tap Sound -> Silent Mode.
4. You can also use the side volume keys to lower the volume to silent.

To Turn Airplane Mode On or Off

1. From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under Wireless & Communications, tap More… -> Airplane Mode and tap OK to enable it.
4. To turn off airplane mode, simply tap Airplane Mode again.
