    Setting up a New Wallpaper


    1. From the Home screen, touch and hold an empty spot.
    2. Then select one of the following option:

    • Gallery – go to the image that you want to set as wallpaper -> tap to adjust the image size, if desired -> tap Save when you’re finished.
    • Live wallpapers – go to the desired wallpaper -> and tap Set Wallpaper.
    • Wallpapers – go to the desired image -> tap Set Wallpaper.

    Downloading a Wallpaper via Computer (for T-Mobile customers)

    1. On your computer, go to t-mobile.com and download the desired wallpaper.
    2. Next, you will receive a text message on your Nexus 4 from T-Mobile.com, and an alert will also appear in the Status bar.
    3. Drag the Status bar down and tap the message.
    4. Then tap the link found in the message and follow the instructions.

    Deleting a Wallpaper


    1. From the Home screen, tap All apps.
    2. Tap Gallery -> tap and hold the image you no longer want -> then tap Delete.
    3. Keep in mind that you will not be able to delete the pre-loaded images.

    Changing the Ring Type

    1. From the Home screen, tap All apps.
    2. Go to Settings -> Sound -> Sound profile -> make the desired settings.

    Changing the Ringtone


    1. From the Home screen, tap All apps.
    2. Go to Settings -> Sound -> Phone ringtone -> select the ringtone that you want to use and tap OK when finished.

    Downloading Ringtones via Computer (for T-Mobile customers)

    1. From the Home screen, tap All apps.
    2. Tap File manager -> tap Local -> select Download -> touch the Trash can icon -> touch to select the ringtones that you wish to delete -> When ready, tap Delete.

    Note: You won’t be able to delete the pre-loaded ringtones.

    Adding Widgets, Shortcuts or Folders

    1. Go to the Home screen where you’d like to place the widget, shortcut, or folder.
    2. Tap All apps.
    3. Swipe right and choose the app or widget that you want to add to the Home screen.
    4. Then tap and hold the desired app or widget until the Home screen will appear again.
    5. Move the widget or app into the desired place and then release your finger.
    6. If you want to create a folder, move one app over another app.

    Moving Widgets, Shortcuts, or Folders

    1. While you’re on the Home screen, tap and hold the widget, app or folder that you want to move.
    2. Drag the desired widget, app or folder to the location where you want to move them.
    3. And when you’re ready, release your finger.

    Removing a Widget, Shortcut, or Folder

    1. From the Home screen, tap and hold the widget, app or folder that you want to remove.
    2. Then drag the desired app, widget or folder to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen.
    3. When ready, release your finger.
