Turning Wi-Fi On or Off

  1. Go to the Home screen.
  2. Then tap and drag down the notification bar.
  3. Tap the Wi-Fi icon to toggle it on or off.
  4. When Wi-Fi is enabled, the icon will turn blue. When Wi-Fi is disabled, the icon is white/gray.

Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings -> tap Wi-Fi -> and make sure the Wi-Fi switch is turned to ON.
  3. Your LG Optimus L3 will now automatically search for available networks.
  4. To connect to a network, tap the desired one.
  5. To refresh the list of available networks, tap Search.
  6. In case the network you want to connect to is not available or is hidden, tap Add Network and manually enter the settings.
  7. You may be prompted to enter a network password- > enter the password and tap Connect.
  8. Your LG Optimus L3 will then connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Turning Wi-Fi Hotspot On or Off

  1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
  2. Tap More -> tap Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot and then check the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot box to toggle the feature on or off.
  3. The portable Wi-Fi hotspot has been enable/disabled.

Note: Your carrier may require a separate Mobile Hotspot service plan in order to use your device as a mobile hotspot.

Setting up a Wi-Fi Hotspot

  1. Go to the Home screen and tap Apps.
  2. Then tap Settings- > tap More -> tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot -> tap Set up Wi-Fi hotspot.
  3. Now, edit the Network SSID, Security type as well as the Password fields, as desired.
  4. These settings will be required when other devices will want to connect to your mobile hotspot.
  5. Configure all the other hotspot settings as desired.
  6. When finished, tap Save.
  7. To enable or disable Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, tap the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot box.

Note: Your carrier may require a separate Mobile Hotspot service plan in order to use your device as a mobile hotspot.
