Account Management
Adding a Gmail Account:
- While on the home screen, tap the "All apps" icon
- Tap "Gmail"
- Select "Existing" or "New"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup
Adding an Email Account Manually:
- Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
- Tap "Email"
- Press the "Menu" icon depicting three vertical dots
- Tap "Settings" > "Add an account"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup
Deleting an Email Account:
- Tap "All apps" > "Settings"
- Under "Accounts", select the type of account that you wish to remove
- Select the name of the contact that you wish to delete
- Tap the "menu" icon > "Remove account"
- Tap "Remove account" once again to confirm
Enabling / Disabling Email Notifications
Enabling / Disabling Email Notifications for Gmail Accounts:
- Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
- Tap "Gmail"
- Press the "Menu" icon and tap "Settings"
- Select the desired email account
- Mark or unmark the "Notifications" check box
Enabling / Disabling Email Notifications for non-Gmail Accounts:
- Tap "All apps" on the home screen
- Tap "Email" and press the "Menu" icon
- Press "Settings" and select the desired email account
- Under "Notifications", mark or unmark the check box associated with "Email Notifications"
Sending Managing Email Messages
Attaching a File and Sending an Email:
- Tap the "All apps" icon located on the home screen
- Tap "Gmail"
- Press the "Compose" icon
- Tap the "To" field and enter the recipient's email address or contact name
- Tap the "Subject" field and enter a subject
- Press the text field and type in your message
- Tap the "Menu" icon
- Tap "Attach picture" or "Attach video"
- Browse for the desired file and attach it
- When ready, tap the "Send" icon
Deleting Emails in Gmail:
- While on the home screen, tap "All apps"
- Tap "Gmail"
- Select the email message(s) that you wish to delete
- Tap the "Trash can" icon
Deleting Email Messages in Non-Gmail Accounts:
- Tap the "All apps" icon and open "Email"
- Select the message(s) that you wish to delete
- Tap the "Trash can" icon
