Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes is a great tool that allows you to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. This allows you to sync the contacts from your Google account to your Android device with ease. Synced contacts come with images, email addresses, notes and any available information. For this approach you need access to a computer with iTunes installed.

  1. Open iTunes on your computer
  2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer
  3. Once connected, your smartphone will appear in iTunes. Click it to open the summary page
  4. Go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With"
  6. Choose "Google Contacts" form the drop-down list
  7. If you haven't done this before, add your Google account's log in details. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
  8. To begin the syncing process between your iPhone and Google account, click "Apply"
  9. Pick up the LG G Pro 2 and register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes. (Go to "Settings" > "Accounts")
  10. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

As long as you have an iCloud account and you've used the service before, then your contacts should already be backed up on iCloud. The service allows you to export these contacts in the form of a VCF file which can then be imported on your Android device. For this method you need a computer with Internet access.

  1. Use your PC's Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  3. From the list of contacts, select the ones that you want to share
  4. Click the "Settings" icon located in the lower-left side
  5. Select "Export vCard" and allow your computer to download the VCF file
  6. Once downloaded, import the VCF file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, skip this step and perform the next one instead:
  7. Connect your G Pro 2 to your PC via USB and copy the vCard file in the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, open the contacts app and choose to import contacts from the SD card / storage. Pick an account and select the VCF file

Using the "My Contacts Backup" Application:

In case you don't have access to a computer then your best choice is to transfer your contacts with the help of applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can compile your iPhone contacts in a VCF file. To use this method:

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on your iPhone, via the App Store
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. A VCF file containing your contacts will be created. Tap "Email" to open a new email and attach the VCF file to it
  4. Send the email with the VCF file to your own Gmail address
  5. Switch over to the G Pro 2 and open the email
  6. Download the vCard file and import the contacts through the contacts application

Using the "Bump" Application:

"Bump" is yet another application that deals with contact transfer from one phone to another, without the need of a PC, Bluetooth, NFC or other prerequisites. The app requires an Internet connection on both devices. For this approach:

  1. Visit the Play Store and download Bump on your G Pro 2
  2. Install the same app on your iPhone, through the App Store
  3. Open the application on both devices and allow permissions
  4. Pick up the iPhone and swipe to the contacts screen
  5. Select the contacts that you want to share
  6. When the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right area, gently bump your smartphones
  7. If done properly, your phones will display a "Connect" button. Tap it
  8. Your iPhone contacts will now be transferred over to the G Pro 2 via cloud
