Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

iTunes can be used to sync iPhone contacts with a Google Account. All of the synced contacts contain their contact image, name, number, email and any other details saved within the contact. This method requires a computer with Internet access and iTunes installed. (NOTE: if necessary, you can download iTunes from the official Apple website).

  1. On your computer, launch iTunes
  2. Establish a connection between your iPhone and computer via USB
  3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click it
  4. From the summary page, go to the "Info" tab
  5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With" and from the drop-down menu, choose "Google Contacts"
  6. Register your Google account in iTunes. If you've done this before, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
  7. Click "Apply" to begin the syncing process between the iPhone and Google
  8. On your LG L90, register the same Google account used in iTunes. (NOTE: you can add an account by going to "Settings" > "Accounts"
  9. Set your account so that it syncs contacts with your Android device

Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

The iCloud backup service offers the option of exporting your iPhone contacts in the form of a vCard file - ready for importing on an Android handset. If you've used iCloud before, then your iPhone's contacts should be backed up on your iCloud account. For this approach, you need access to a computer with an Internet connection.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account and click "Contacts"
  3. Choose the contacts that you want to export
  4. Click the "Settings" icon located in the lower-left side
  5. Select "Export vCard" and a VCF file will be downloaded on your computer
  6. Import the vCard file to "Google Contacts". Alternatively, you can connect the LG L90 to your computer using the USB cable, and copy the VCF file in the "sdcard" directory. Then, open the contacts app and use the "Import / Export" option from the menu, to import the vCard file's contacts

Using "My Contacts Backup" to Transfer Contacts:

Both the iTunes and iCloud methods require access to a computer, but there are other methods of transfer that don't require such prerequisites. You can use applications such as "My Contacts Backup" to transfer your iPhone contacts over to the LG L90. The app in question has the ability to back up your contacts and share them via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap "Backup" to create a VCF file containing your contacts
  3. Tap "Email" to attach the file to a new email
  4. Enter your Gmail address as the email's recipient, and send it
  5. On the LG L90, open the email and download the vCard file
  6. Import the file's contents to your phone book, using the "Import / Export" feature found in the contacts application

Using "Send Anywhere" to Transfer Contacts:

Send Anywhere is an iOS and Android app that can transfer contacts and other file types from one phone to another, through a peer-2-peer connection. Once again, this method doesn't require access to a computer.

  1. From the App Store, install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
  2. Download the application on the LG L90 via the Play Store
  3. Open the application on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" and select "Contacts"
  5. Choose the contacts that you want to share, and tap "Send"
  6. Select a method of transfer, such as "Generate QR Code". By choosing this, you can generate a code that can be scanned with the LG L90's camera to commence the transfer. Alternatively, you can tap "Receive" on the L90, and enter the transfer code that has been randomly generated on the iPhone
