    Inserting the SD Card:

    1. Power off your smartphone and remove the back cover
    2. Insert the microSD card in its slot, with the gold contacts facing down
    3. Refit the back cover and power on your smartphone
    4. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    5. Go to "Settings", swipe to "Device" and tap "Storage"
    6. Tap "Mount SD card"

    Removing an SD Card:

    1. Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings" > "Storage"
    3. Tap "Unmount SD card"
    4. Power off your smartphone, remove the back cover and remove the microSD card

    Checking the Amount of Free SD Storage:

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Swipe to "Device" and tap "Storage"
    4. Under "SD card", you can view the amount of "Available" storage

    Formatting the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD card will delete all data stored on it. If necessary and / or possible, create backups before proceeding:

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen

    1. Establish a USB connection between your computer and LG G3
    2. From the home screen, swipe the "Status" bar down
    3. Tap "USB connected" > "Connect USB storage"
    4. From the AutoPlay window on your computer, click "Open folder to view files" > "OK"
    5. Open the internal or external storage directory (card or phone)
    6. Locate the desired files. Open them, or delete them as you desire
    7. Once done, tap "Disconnect storage from PC" on the smartphone

    Opening or Deleting Files Using a Mac:

    1. Connect the LG G3 to your Mac via USB
    2. Locate the desired files stored on the LG G3
    3. Double click a file to open it
    4. To delete a file, select and right-click it, then click "Delete"
    5. When ready, click the removable storage icon on the desktop, and safely disconnect your LG G3 from your Mac

    2. Open "File Manager" and tap "All files"
    3. Tap "SD card" and locate the desired files / folders
    4. Tap to open a file
    5. To delete a file, tap and hold it, and tap "Delete" > "Yes"

    Transferring SD Card Files

    Transferring Files between a PC and SD Card:

    1. Connect your smartphone to your PC using the USB cable
    2. Swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "USB connected"
    3. Tap "Connect USB storage"
    4. From the AutoPlay window on your PC, click "open folder to view files" > "OK"
    5. You will see two directories, one being associated with the internal storage, the other one with the SD Card
    6. Locate the desired files on the SD card
    7. Copy the files and transfer them on the PC as you desire. You can also copy files from the PC to the SD card
    8. When you're ready, tap "Disconnect storage from PC" on the smartphone's screen

    Transferring Files From the Internal Storage to the SD Card:

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
    2. Tap "File Manager" > "All files"
    3. Select "Internal storage" and locate the desired files stored on your phone's memory
    4. Mark the check boxes next to the files and folders that you wish to transfer
    5. Press "Menu" and tap "Move", or tap "Copy" to duplicate the file / folder
    6. Tap "SD memory card" and navigate to where you wish to move / copy the files
    7. Tap "Move here" / "Paste here"

    Transferring Files from the SD Card to the Internal Storage:

    1. From one of the home screens, tap "Apps"
    2. Tap "File Manager" > "All Files"
    3. Go to "SD card"
    4. Locate the files / folders you wish to move to the internal memory
    5. Mark the check boxes associated with the desired files / folders
    6. Tap "Menu" > "Move". NOTE: tap "Copy" instead, if you wish to create duplicate files / folders
    7. Tap "Device storage" and navigate to where you wish to transfer the files
    8. Tap "Move here" or "Paste here", depending on your initial choice
