Restoring Applications:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Swipe down to "Personal" and then tap "Backup & reset"
  4. Mark the "Automatic restore" check box

Restoring Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer and go to the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Swipe to "Personal" and tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service" followed by "File restore & management"
  4. Locate and select the contact backup file
  5. Tap "Next" and press "Start" to begin the restore (NOTE: the process may take several minutes to complete)
  6. At the "Restored" message, tap "Done"
  7. Wait for your phone to reboot and complete the restore

Restoring Data from the SD Card:

  1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
  2. Access "Settings" and scroll to "Personal"
  3. Tap "Backup & reset" > "LG Backup service"
  4. Tap "File restore & management"
  5. Locate and tap the desired SD card backup
  6. Tap "Next"
  7. Press "Start" to begin. The process may take several minutes to complete
  8. At the "Restored" message, tap "Done"
  9. Wait for your smartphone to reboot and complete the restore

Restoring Media Files From Your Device:

  1. Access the phone's "Settings" menu
  2. Scroll down to "Personal" and then tap "Backup & reset"
  3. Tap "LG Backup service" and tap "File restore & management"
  4. Locate and then tap the media backup
  5. Tap "Next" and press "Start" to begin
  6. Wait for the process to end, it may take several minutes. At the "Restored" message, tap "Done"
  7. Your smartphone will now reboot to complete the restore

Restoring Media Files Stored on a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between your LG G3 Vigor and Computer
  2. At the prompt, tap "Media sync (MTP)" on your smartphone. If the option doesn't pop up, select it from the notification area
  3. On the computer an AutoPlay window should appear. Select to browse the phone's files and folders
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and navigate to where the media files have been backed up
  5. Copy the files and paste them on your phone's storage
  6. Once the transfer is done, click the "mass storage device" icon in the system tray and eject your smartphone
  7. Safely disconnect your LG device from the computer
