Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG Magna to your computer via USB
  2. At the prompt, tap "Media sync (MTP)". Otherwise swipe the "Notification" bar down and enable the option
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer, click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer"
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer them to the LG Magna's storage (should be the first Explorer window). You should copy these files in the "Ringtones" and / or "Notifications" folders
  6. Once the transfer is complete, click "Safely Remove Hardware" in the system tray
  7. Next, click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"
  8. You can now disconnect the smartphone from the computer

Change the Phone Ringtone:

  1. Make sure the desired custom audio files have been transferred to the "Ringtones" folder
  2. From the home screen tap "Apps"
  3. Go to "Settings" > "Sound"
  4. Under "Ringtone & Notifications", tap "Phone ringtone"
  5. Select a ringtone for the phone (NOTE: Files recently added in the "Ringtones" folder will be listed under "My Ringtones")

Change the Ringtone of a Single Contact:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Select the contact you want to set a ringtone to
  3. Tap "Edit"
  4. Tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu and select the desired ringtone from the list
  5. Tap "OK" and press "Save"

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Make sure the desired audio files have been transferred to the "Notifications" folder
  2. Open the apps drawer and go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "Sound"
  4. Under "System", tap "Notification sound"
  5. Select the desired notification. (NOTE: Files newly added in the "Notifications" folder should appear under "My Notifications")
  6. If you are unable to change the notification sound, try switching the "Sound Profile" from "Silent" to "Sound"
