NOTE: Visit this thread if you want to find out how you can back up data on the LG G4 Beat.

Restore Applications:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Optionally press “Menu” > “List view”
  4. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
  6. Locate and select the backup file
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete
  8. At the “Restored” message tap “Done”
  9. Wait for the phone to reboot

Restore Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. To switch from Tab view, press “Menu” > “List view”
  4. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Under “LG Backup service” tap “Restore from backup”
  6. Locate and tap the SD card backup
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete (It may take several minutes)
  8. When you see the “Restored” message, tap “Done”
  9. The phone will now reboot and complete the restore

Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Press “Menu” > “List view”
  4. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
  5. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
  6. Locate the desired media files and tap them
  7. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete
  8. At the “Restore completed” message tap “Restart”
  9. Your phone will now reboot to complete the restore

Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG G4 Beat and computer
  2. When / if prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)” on your phone
  3. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the files backed up on your computer
  4. Copy the files and transfer them back to your phone storage
  5. Once the transfer is done, click the “mass storage” icon in the system tray and eject the phone, then safely disconnect it from the PC
