Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Tribute 2 to your computer via USB
- When prompted, tap Media sync (MTP), otherwise enable the option from the notification area
- In the AutoPlay window that should pop-up on the computer, click Open device to view files > OK
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your PC
- Copy the files, and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and Notifications folders
- Once the transfer is complete, click Safely Remove Hardware in the system tray
- Click Safely Remove Mass Storage Device > OK
- Its now safe to disconnect your phone form the computer
Change the Phones Ringtone:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Access Settings
- Tap the Sound & notification tab
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts that are stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch the Contacts app
- Select the desired contact
- Tap the Edit button shaped like a pencil
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Go to the phones Settings menu
- Tap Sound & notification
- Swipe to Advanced Settings and tap More
- Tap Notification sound
- Select the desired sound and tap OK
