Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC to Use as Ringtones / Notifications:

  1. First, connect the LG K10 to your computer using the USB cable
  2. Next, drag the “Status” bar down on the phone’s home screen, and ensure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Use the Explorer to browse the PC storage for the desired audio files
  5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” / “Ringtones” folders
  6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch the apps drawer
  2. Go to “Settings”
  3. Tap the “Sound & Notification” tab and go to “Ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”

Customize a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Select the contact you wish to set a custom ringtone to
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select a ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Open the “Settings” menu
  2. Scroll to and tap “Sound & notification”
  3. Swipe to “Advanced settings” and tap “More”
  4. Tap “Notification sound”
  5. Select the notification sound you want to use
  6. Tap “OK”
