Back Up Application Data:
- On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
- Tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner
- Access General and tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:
- Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Tap General > Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data and when prompted, select LG Cloud and sign in with your LG Account
- Turn on Personal data and deselect the other options
- Expand the Personal data directory and select Contacts
- Tap Start, and press Done at the Back up completed pop-up
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Go to Settings
- Tap General > Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data and enable SD Card
- Select the items you want to back up and tap Start
- At the Backup completed prompt, tap Done
Back Up Media Files Using Your Phone:
- On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
- Launch Settings and access General
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore
- Enable Media data and disable all the other non-media options
- Tap Start to begin the sync
- At the Backup completed prompt, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Stylo 2 to your computer via USB
- At the prompt, enable Media device (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP), otherwise enable the option from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
- Transfer the files in the desired backup location on your computer
- After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB
