Enable Battery Saving Mode:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab if necessary
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Battery & Power saving”
  4. Turn on “Power saving mode” and enable or disable the available Power saving options
  5. Lastly, select a battery percentage at which the mode enables automatically

Decrease Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “Display” tab if necessary
  3. Scroll to “Basic Settings” and tap “Brightness”
  4. Drag the brightness slider towards the left to decrease luminosity
  5. Tap “Screen timeout” and select a lower value

Disable Smart Settings Unused at Home:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. From the “General” tab, scroll to “Smart functions”
  3. Tap “Smart settings” and set the option to “OFF”

Adjust Video Quality in Games:

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab if necessary
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Battery & Power saving”
  4. Disable “Game optimizer”

Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: By disabling Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Hotspot while they are not in use, you can conserve battery life in the long run.

  1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
  2. Open “Settings” and access the “Networks” tab
  3. Scroll to “Connectivity” and tap “Tethering”
  4. Turn “Mobile data” “OFF” and return to “Settings”
  5. Set the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches to “OFF”
  6. Under “Personal”, tap “Location” (GPS)”
  7. Then, tap “Mode” and select “Battery saving (networks only)”

Temporarily Switch to 2G Connectivity:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can temporarily switch to 2G networks until the next recharge to conserve battery life.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. If needed, access the “Networks” tab
  3. Under “Connectivity”, tap “More” > “Mobile networks”
  4. Tap “Network mode” and turn on “GSM Only”

Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third party apps perform regular background processes even when they are not actively in use, and thus they can affect battery life. By removing or disabling unused third party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Apps”
  4. Go to “Downloaded”
  5. Tap and hold the desired app
  6. To disable the app, tap “Disable” or “Force stop”
  7. To remove the app from the phone, tap “Uninstall”

Disable Background Data:

  1. Open “Settings” and access the “Networks” tab
  2. Tap “Mobile data”
  3. Tap “Menu” and enable “Restrict background data”
  4. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: By changing the sync settings of your apps or accounts to reduce sync, you might improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts & Sync”
  4. Disable “Auto-sync data”
  5. Select an account / app for additional sync options
