Back Up App Data:
- Open Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Turn on Back up my data
Back Up Contacts:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore
- Tap Back up my data and ensure LG Cloud is enabled
- Sign in with your LG Account if prompted
- Select Personal data and disable the other options
- Expand Personal data and ensure Contacts is enabled
- Tap Start to begin the process
- Once completed, tap Done
Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data and turn on SD Card
- Choose the items you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on the Phone:
- Open Settings and access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Select Media data and deselect the non-media options
- Expand Media data and select the media files you want to back up
- Tap Start
- Once the process is complete, tap Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG Stylo 2 V to your computer via USB
- Turn on Media sync (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Using the Explorer, locate the desired media files or .sbf backup files on the phone
- Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
- You can now safely disconnect the device from the USB port
