Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG Tribute HD.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync is complete, register the same Google account on the LG Tribute HD and allow the account to sync contacts with your phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the computer and follow one of these steps:
    • Use the Internet browser to import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG Tribute HD to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it using “Contacts”

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, you can also transfer iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard file containing your iPhone contacts
  3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. On the LG device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the file to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for transferring contacts is Send Anywhere on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG Tribute HD
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts to share and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
