How-to: LG K10 (2017): Create and Manage Contacts & Caller Groups

Create a Contact:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “+” and select to sync/ store the contact on “SIM”, as a “Phone contact” or with “Google”
3. Enter the contact’s phone number, name, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
4. Tap “Save” to confirm

Import Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Manage contacts” and select “Import”
4. Under “From”, select “SIM”, “SD Card” or “Internal storage”
5. Under “To”, select “Google” or “Phone”
6. Tap “OK” to confirm and select the desired contacts, or tap “Select all”
7. Tap “Import” > “Yes”

Export Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Access “Manage contacts”
4. Select “Back up”
5. Under “To”, select “SD card”, “SIM” or “Internal storage”
6. Tap “OK” to confirm
7. Choose the contacts you wish to export or tap “Select all”
8. Tap “Export” > “Yes”

Assign Contacts to Speed Dial:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Access the “Dial” pad
3. Tap “Menu” > “Speed dial”
4. Select the dial pad number you want to assign and choose the contact you wish to associate with the dial pad number

Delete Contacts:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Tap and hold the desired contact and then tap “Delete contacts”
3. Tap “Yes” to confirm

Create a Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Access “Groups”
3. Tap “Menu” New group”
4. Edit the “New group” fields as desired
5. Tap “+” if you wish to add contacts to the group, and tap “Add” > “Save”

Assign Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “Groups”
3. Select the desired group and tap “Menu”
4. Tap “Edit group” > “Add members”
5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Add”
