Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts:
- Launch Settings
- From the General tab, tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data
- Ensure LG Cloud is enabled and register your LG account
- Select Personal data and deselect the other options
- Expand Personal data and make sure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start
- After the backup is complete, tap Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Card:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Go to LG Backup and tap Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data > SD Card
- Select the items you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on the Phone Storage:
- Open Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options
- Expand Media data and select the media files you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG phone to your computer via USB
- Enable Media sync / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired media files or .sbf backup files on the phone storage
- Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
