Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account, and then you can sync the account data and contacts with your Android device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is complete, switch to the LG device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the PC, follow one of the steps below:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the LG device to your PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with an active Internet connection, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Ensure the email contains the vCard backup file and send the email to your address
  5. Switch to the LG device and open the email
  6. Download the vCard attachment and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use to transfer contacts, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share your contacts without a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Install the same app on the LG device from the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
