Enable Battery Saving Mode:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Battery & power saving”
  4. Enable Power Saving and modify the desired Power Saving features
  5. Select a battery percentage at which the mode enables automatically

Disable Connectivity Features:

NOTE: By disabling your phone’s connectivity features when unused, including Bluetooth, Hotspot, Wi-Fi, GPS etc. you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “Networks” tab and tap “Connectivity”
  3. Tap “Tethering” > “Mobile Hotspot” and set the toggle OFF
  4. Return to “Settings” and tap the “Bluetooth” and “Wi-Fi” switches OFF
  5. Access the “General” tab and scroll to “Personal”
  6. Tap “Location” (GPS) > “Mode”
  7. Select “Battery saving (networks only)”

Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery life and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “Networks” tab
  3. Scroll to “Connectivity”
  4. Tap “More” > “Mobile networks”
  5. Tap “network mode” and enable “GSM only”

Disable Smart Settings Unused at Home:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Smart functions”
  4. Tap “Smart settings” and set the option “OFF”

Adjust Visual Quality in Games:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Battery & Power saving”
  4. Turn “Game optimizer” OFF

Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third party applications perform regular background processes and can affect battery life even when not actively in use. By disabling or uninstalling unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Apps”
  4. Access the “Downloaded” section
  5. Tap and hold the desired application
  6. To turn the app off, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
  7. To remove the app from the device, tap “Uninstall”

Decrease Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access the “Display” tab
  3. Scroll to “Basic settings”
  4. Tap “Brightness” and drag the brightness slider towards the left side of the screen
  5. Tap “Screen timeout” and select a lower screen timeout option

Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: By changing your accounts/apps sync options to reduce sync, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts & sync”
  4. Disable “Auto-sync data”
  5. Scroll to “Accounts” and select an app/account to change its sync settings
