Clear App Cache/Data:
NOTE: If one of your apps crashes, freezes, takes up too much storage inexplicably or otherwise doesnt work as intended, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the apps cache or data.
WARNING! When you clear an apps data, all your personal information stored within the app will be deleted, including media files and settings, save files, user profiles, credit card and login information. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the apps cache.
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Under Phone management, tap Apps
- Select the desired app and tap Storage
- Tap Clear cache
- If necessary, tap Storage > Clear data > OK to confirm
Clear the Phones Cache Partition:
NOTE: In case your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise doesnt work as intended and youre planning on factory resetting it, alternatively you can try and fix these issues by clearing the phones cache partition. This can yield results similar to a factory reset, without losing any personal data stored on the device.
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab
- Tap Storage under Phone management
- Go to Internal storage and wait for the phone to finish calculating the data
- Tap Cached data > Clear to confirm
NOTE: If clearing the cache partition didnt help, you can check this thread for a guide on how to factory reset the phone instead.
Enable Safe Mode and Uninstall an App:
NOTE: In case you have installed a third-party app that causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app from Safe Mode. In this mode, all third party apps are disabled by default. To reboot the device in Safe Mode
- Press and hold Power while viewing the home screen
- In the power management pop-up, tap and hold Power off
- At the Restart in Safe Mode prompt, tap OK
- Wait for the phone to reboot. Once done, a Safe Mode watermark should be visible in the lower area of the screen
- To uninstall an app, first open Settings
- Go to the General tab and tap Phone Management
- Tap Apps and select the desired app
- Tap Uninstall > OK to confirm
- To exit Safe Mode, press and hold Power and tap Power off and restart

Thanks for the article, it actually helped me! I thought it was all because of the update that I installed, and that it was the fault of developers because I worked with many developers that weren't good enough. I still don't believe that I managed to find a decent ecommerce company that helped me develop an online store, but It really took me some time.
