Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification shade
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the notifications and Ringtones folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound
- Tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be assigned for contacts stored on the phones internal memory or SIM card.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap More > Ringtones
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:
- Launch Email
- Tap Menu > Settings
- Access Accounts & sync
- Enable New Emails > Notification sound
- Select the desired notification alert
- Optionally, turn Vibrate ON or OFF
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Launch Messages
- Tap Menu
- Go to Settings > Advanced settings
- Tap More > Emergency alerts
- Enable or disable Imminent severe alerts Imminent extreme alerts and AMBER alerts
- Under Sound and vibrate turn Alert sound and Alert vibration ON or OFF
