Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Device” and tap “Sound”
  3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  4. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
  4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
  5. Press “OK” to confirm

Change Incoming Email Notification Sounds:

  1. Launch “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Accounts & Sync”
  4. Tap “new emails” > “Notification sound”
  5. Select the desired notification alert and optionally, turn “Vibrate” ON or OFF

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Launch “Messages”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Advanced settings”
  4. Turn “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
  5. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Sound and vibrate” “Alert sound” and “Alert vibration”
