Hello All,

I have owned my LG G4 for a few years now. I'm trying to get it to hang on for another couple months before having to buy a new phone; I would rather not buy a new phone at all if there is a way to fix a few things on my G4. The main problem I have is that the battery life is short; I usually have to charge it 2x per day even with minimal use. About 6 months ago I bought a replacement battery and that helped a little bit over the original battery but it was nothing like when the phone was new. A couple weeks ago I thought maybe the replacement battery was junk so I bought a different replacement battery but am getting about the same battery life.

I go into settings>battery>battery usage to see what is using my battery life. The two things that seem to use the most battery life are "media" and "screen." I'm not sure what "media" is. When I click on media it says included packages are: download manager, media storage, and downloads. I never really download anything to my phone so not sure why this is using so much battery life.

Is there a way to figure out what is using all of my battery power in "media?"

Any help or advice is much appreciated!
