Is there an ap that would take me straight to the phone screen, or better yet, straight to favorites or most called or call log when I turn the phone on. It is tough and dangerous to navigate to the phone, ideally I'd like to hit the on button and go directly to "call home" by voice and have the phone make the call, rather than hunt for the correct buttons.
Thanks!

On your home screen, press and hold on an empty space, when the menu appears press shortcuts, on the next menu press APPLICATIONS, search the list for PHONE and PRESS, the app should appear on your home screen.
Now when you unlock your phone just press the PHONE icon to take you directly to a phone screen.

Thanks! I thought I'd explored the phone pretty well the past 28 days, but I just found the shortcuts to direct dial for my most used phone numbers. That helps a lot.
long press on empty space on the home page
select shortcuts
select direct dial
select your speed dial number/name
Thanks again

Same short cuts apply to MAPS, get directions to a destination, create a short cut on your home screen, when your ready to travel or need a particular direction, press the short cut and your ready to go.
Great for people who travel a lot (salesmen/delivery)
